Van Gogh’s permanent collection of works in the museum exhibits more than 200 of his objects, including serene landscapes, beautiful still lifes and fascinating drawings and letters. All of them together, shed a revealing light on his extraordinary life. Don’t miss his legendary Sunflowers painting or his eccentric self-portraits.
The museum also exhibits works by some of Van Gogh’s contemporaries, including Gauguin and Monet, which puts his paintings in a broader context. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum also hosts temporary exhibitions that illustrate various aspects of 19th-century art and history.
