Discover the soul of Seoul: three hours is enough to discover the mountainous capital of South Korea. Walk the streets and feel the balance between tradition and modernity in the city.
The ticket includes access to a local history exhibition at Seoul City Panoramic Theater and a visit to Gyeonghuigung Palace. You can also observe the ceremony of the changing of the guard at Daehanmun, as well as the ancient gongs of the bell tower of the Bosingak pavilion.
You will start the day in the city center at the Gwanghwamun Gate, which is part of the Gyeongbokgung Palace. From here you will walk with an English-speaking guide to the first gem of the tour: the Seoul History Museum. Learn about Seoul’s history from prehistory to a futuristic city through an interactive exhibition.
Continuing the tour, the small group will head to Gyeonghuigung Palace, a reconstructed former royal residence that used to be one of the five great palaces of the Joseon dynasty (1392-1897).
After viewing the palace, you will see the colorful changing of the guard ceremony at Daehanmun, the main gate of Deoksugung Palace. The ceremony is performed the same as 600 years ago, with weapons included.
After a brief visit to Seoul City Hall and scenic Cheonggyecheon Square, you will walk to the Bosingak Pavilion. The three-meter-high bell has been ringing since the early Joseon period. If the tour is punctual, you can listen to it at noon.
Show your digital ticket to the guide at the meeting point, in front of the Gwanghwamun station, exit 6 (outside).
It can be canceled up to 24 hours before the day of the visit (if selected).
