On the banks of the Rio de La Plata and just a few blocks from the Cathedral of San Isidro, you will find a group of four women artists, engaged in the art world of today.
We started in the atelier of Clarisa Cassiau who always receives us with a smile and some homemade jams! We see his paintings and sculptures of a constructivist nature where the full color and influence of the Bauhaus make up a collection of remarkable quality and recognition. We talked about their present and future techniques and past works. Crossing the street, we visited Candela Casado, a charming creation space for his large-scale works that combine collage, painting and sgraffito on wood. A few blocks and if the solcito allows it we walked until the atelier of Gisela Gaffoglio.
There we see large works and also small format in oil and acrylic on canvas. These works evoke cities and urban landscapes exploited with color and sensitivity. Dancer of Tango and traveler of vocation, Gisela tells us about her creative process in a simple and enjoyable way. We finished an afternoon of art in the atelier of Carolina Di Paola, a cozy mezzanine where the feminine spirit and spirituality coexist through the series of paintings made with mixed media and LEDs, where they recognize amplified micro organic figures and vegetation of suggestive shapes and color.
