At the foot of the Collserola mountain we find this beautiful garden which is also the oldest in Barcelona. Its name comes from a fabulous plant maze, formed by trimmed cypresses, in which we can get lost and marvel at the same time! In addition to the park is the Sovereign Tower, an old country house from the 14th century, restored and redecorated in the Arab style during the 19th century. Although it is a public park, its entrance is not free and we must pay about 2 euros to enjoy its gardens.
This park is on the grounds of an old amusement park, from which it inherited its current name. This park highlights the large number of sculptures and architectural details of the early twentieth century. Its enclosure is a huge meadow and a pond, which makes it ideal for a good picnic. A park that contains large green areas with different species of flowers, plants, trees, which makes it an ideal place for a good summer picnic!
Designed by the famous modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, as part of an old urbanization project in the upper area of Barcelona, this park has become over time a true symbol in the city. The original project was interrupted in 1914 but luckily for us some of the wonders we see today have been built as the Hipòstila Hall or the famous dragon clad in colored ceramic pieces that presides over the entrance.

This park has beautiful gardens and many places to sit and read a good book or just rest a little from urban Barcelona. When you visit this park do not miss its incredible rose garden. This garden has about 10,000 rose bushes, which are of more than 2,000 species, which come from the 5 continents. This park reaches its greatest beauty during the flowering months (between May and June), when about 150,000 roses can be opened.
